In an era of economic downturn and ever-changing business model, Oracle has invested billions in a product called Fusion (the success of which remains to be seen) and is marketing itself heavily to sell packaged products in the cloud, not as a integrated ERP system. (here I will say that Oracle is smart enough, they know it is not easy to break the monopoly of legacy products in the markets), customers willingly buy these packaged products with no hardware cost and no user subscription and use the money to make the product robust for the future. Oracle’s only intention is to compete with SAP, but I think SAP is way ahead of the ERP market and offers more advanced functionality, while Oracle is still working to stabilize core functionality based on feedback from customers. customers (obtained feedback from existing users).

One problem, I understood the integration of packaged merger with the basic ERP system. Oracle developed UCM (this is not a next generation feature) where the integration is not real-time and always file-based.
